Remember those halcyon days of the Cold War? Our Victoreen Survey Meters (Geiger counters) are a relic of the old Civil Defense Program and date from the 1970's era. They were stocked in bomb shelters and used to detect radiation following a nuclear blast. Approx. 7-3/4" long x 4" wide x 6" tall to the top of the handle. The meters still bear the state markings and calibration dates. Uses (1) D battery.
