1. Domestic Shipping Policies:
We offer three different shipping options, FedEx Smartpost, FedEx Ground, FedEx Express Services.
FedEx Smartpost: FREE SHIPPING FOR ORDERS OVER $50!!!! Smartpost usually takes anywhere from 4-14 business days and the package is moved using the FedEx network until it arrives at your local post office. Then the local postal courier delivers the package to your home. A great service if you are not in a hurry and would like to save a couple extra bucks.
FedEx Ground: FedEx's Ground/Home Delivery service is top notch. No matter where it needs to go in the country you have the reliable ground network to get your package there. Transit times range from 1-7 business days and you can click here to get an idea of how long it will take.
FedEx Express: In a hurry? Or did you forget that oh-so important birthday? Well we have a solution for you. Off The Deep End offers all FedEx's express services including Overnight, Second Day Air and FedEx Express Saver. Your shipping cost will be calculated after your order is packed due to the wide variety of products that we have.
We have a $8.95 minimum order.
International Shipping Policies:
UPS Canada: Here's to all my northern neighbors out there! Do you hate getting all those orders delivered with customs and duties due? Well, all orders are shipped prepaid so it comes to your door duty free. GST, PST, duties and brokerage are all added in to the shipping cost which is calculated after the order is packed.

General Payment Terms:
Payment must be made by credit card and the order must be shipped to the billing address. All orders will be screened and may require additional verification steps before shipping. Please make sure you provide accurate contact information (phone and e-mail). Due to the inherent fraud risk, an order may take up to five business days to complete all screening processes. If we are unable to contact you within that time, your order will be cancelled and a full credit will be issued.
Out of Stock/Backordered Merchandise:
Any order with an out of stock or backordered item will be shipped incomplete and the backordered item will be removed. If that item is the majority of the order, based on total cost, a full credit will be issued and the order will be cancelled. You will receive an e-mail regarding any change to the order.
General Product Information:
Please note that all of our electric powered merchandise (string lights, lamps, signs, etc.) is manufactured to US specifications and may need a converter in order to be used overseas. If you are unsure if the product is suited for use on your specific power system, please call an electrician.
Customs/Duties and Import Taxes:
Customs, duties and import taxes are the CUSTOMER’S responsibility. Off The Deep End will not collect any of these fees upfront and they are determined directly by the destination country. Please do not ask us to change the value of the shipment for customs. Check with your country’s customs office for precise charges before placing your order. If you refuse your package and do not pay the duties and taxes, the package will be returned back to us. You will be charged for all duties and taxes that are incurred by us, shipping costs both ways, and all other handling fees.
Shipping Options:
International Standard Service: A four to fourteen (4-14) business day time in transit. Packages will be delivered by your local mail courier. Please make sure the address provided is deliverable by the postal system. Charges are weight based, $8.00US per pound, (average cost ~$40US) and shipping charges will be billed after the order is packed and weighed. Orders over $150US will be automatically upgraded to our international expedited service.
International Expedited Service: FedEx’s International Priority Service. This service includes a standard two to four (2-4) business day time in transit and the average cost is around $75US. Customs and duties WILL be due upon receipt. Please allow up to five business days for processing and order verification. We do not guarantee the delivery time due to possible delays with customs. The total shipping charge may need to be approved by the cardholder before the order is shipped.
